The Secretariat

The Secretariat is a facilitator that executes the work plan under Mission 2007 and now Grameen Gyaan Abhiyan, it performs the following functions:

• Building and expanding the partnership base of Grameen Gyaan Abhiyan Network
• Supporting and coordinating the work of the Executive Board and Alliance Members and other Grameen Gyaan Abhiyan (Mission 2007) stakeholders.
• Facilitating decision taking by the General Body by organizing meetings of the stakeholders representing different CSOs, private and public sectors and academic institutions;
• Facilitating media coverage and communication on Grameen Gyaan Abhiyan (Mission 2007)
• Documentation of National Policy Makers’ Workshops, Steering Committee Meetings and other relevant meetings

It is generously supported by Swiss Agency for Development And Cooperation, International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust.
